ACCOUNTANT


Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process accounting entries in the accounting system
  • Document and file accounting transactions in an organized manner
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly debtor and creditor reconciliations
  • End to end processing of company’s payroll
  • Preparation of the VAT/VIES
  • Ensure that all supporting documentation is properly prepared and archived

Qualifications:

  • LCCI Higher Certificate in Accounting
  • Ability to meet work related deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good personality with strong organizational skills and ability to work in a team
  • Strong numerical skills
  • Excellent computer literacy
  • Excellent command of the Greek and English languages, both verbal and written

 

JUNIOR AUDITOR


Main duties and responsibilities

  • Assist in undertaking the audit of small and medium sized firms.
  • Operate our audit software and aid in carrying out audit testing tasks.
  • Support the processing of financial statements under IFRS.
  • Assist in liaising with clients’ accounting staff.
  • Learn to review accounting procedures and systems in order to identify weaknesses and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance, Economics, Mathematics or any other related field (higher than 2:1 for UK universities and 7.5 for Cyprus and Greece universities).
  • Registered with ACA/ACCA/CPA.
  • Very good knowledge of IFRS’s and ISA’s.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Good personality with strong organizational skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Fluent in English.

 

PAYROLL ACCOUNTANT


Main duties and responsibilities

  • Prepare and process the payroll (weekly and/or monthly)
  • Communication with clients to get the information needed for preparation of payroll
  • Updating and maintaining payroll records
  • Maintaining leave, sickness and overtime reports
  • Interpreting awards/agreements and contracts in relation to overtime and other allowances
  • Payroll reporting to meet statutory obligations
  • Calculation and processing of termination payments
  • Processing payroll accounts
  • Generate contracts of employment for new hires
  • Prepare all paperwork needed for the immigration and social insurance procedures
  • Submission of income tax employer’s return (TD7)
  • Preparation of the Emolument Certificates (TD63)
  • Prepare and process accounting entries in the accounting system

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance, Economics, Mathematics or any other related field (higher than 2:1 for UK universities and 7.5 for Cyprus and Greece universities).
  • LCCI Higher Certificate
  • 1-2 years of previous experience in payroll will be considered as an advantage
  • Ability to meet work related deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good personality with strong organizational skills and ability to work in a team
  • Strong numerical skills
  • Excellent computer literacy
  • Excellent command of the Greek and English languages, both verbal and written
